My name is Yann, I am French and Quebecer, and I fell in love with Cannes.
I have a small apartment in Cannes called "Les 3 Palmiers", but since I can't be there all the time, it's also for rent on Airbnb. I've found a fabulous team to take care of it; and no need to be afraid, it's simple, pretty, well located and affordable, thanks to its reasonable size. Cannes is the perfect place to stay. Cannes it's the French Riviera climate, all year round. In Cannes, you can do everything on foot. For shops, it's great; there is something for all budgets, from convenience stores to Hermès or Vuitton! And Cannes is the capital of outdoor sports! Not very far, we have the Estérel mountains and just behind the Pré-Alpes d'Azur. Cannes it's the Croisette, but also the beaches of the Midi and Le Suquet, a small hill with all the charm of an old Provençal village.
The apartment is by the sea with beaches just in front. What a pleasure to have breakfast with such a view.
Cannes it's of course the Croisette and the International Film Festival... but not only. It is also a city on a human scale and for all budgets.
In the evening, before going to sleep, I take a last walk in the Suquet, the "South France old village" district, right next to the apartment. With as a bonus, a magnificent view on Cannes.

Capital of outdoor sports
Stars, shopping and idleness, yes... but also breathtaking walks!
But where could I have filmed that? Oh yes, 3 minutes walk from the apartment. Snorkelling in the city!
Behind Grasse (a few kilometers all the same), the observatory of the Côte d'Azur in the Pré-Alpes d'Azur. It feels like being on another planet. But the journey is worth it.
10 km from Cannes, it is already the Estérel mountains. It is also another universe with its ocher rocks, its green trees and the azure blue of the sea.
